If you ever find yourself in a psych hospital and see someone wearing an American pride T-shirt (or probably anything having to do with American pride), steer clear. the ones that are really really into America are some of the craziest ones. They're the same ones who complain about us not giving them their constitutional right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness...
Which is kind of hilarious, as that phrase isn't in the constitution, it's in the Declaration of Independence (Thanks fourth grade Social Studies). And you don't get liberty if you're psychotic. you just don't. And not giving you extra applesauce when you've got out of control diabetes is also not a violation of your constitutional rights. No matter how many times you say "last time I checked, this was AMERICA!" And no, you weren't brought in as part of the Patriot Act, you were brought in on a mental illness warrant.
Then again, I should probably be more tolerant of the freedom-fighters. At the end of the day, I'm the one with the keys and I get to leave the psych ward. At the end of their day, they get stuck with Haldol and Benadryl.

Wait, they're crazy right? Shouldn't there be a general assumption when treating the crazies?
